Dr. Jasmine Singleton was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. She completed her undergraduate studies in Animal Science at Purdue University in 2010 and then obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at the Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. AIer obtaining her D.V.M. degree she decided to move to California to enjoy the beauKful weather and scenery.
Dr. Singleton knew from a very young age that she had a special passion and dedicaKon to helping animals. She began her veterinary journey by volunteering at the animal shelter and then continued as a kennel attendant and veterinary assistant at a local practice in Indiana. Her parents quickly recognized that her love for animals was unique and helped cultivate her growth in pursuing her veterinary degree. After graduating from veterinary school, Dr. Singleton started working in general practice for 2 years and then transitioned to working in veterinary emergency and critical care for 5 years. After her daughter Sarai was born, she then transitioned back to general practice to maintain a healthy work life balance while being a full-time mom and a veterinarian.
Dr. Singleton enjoys working with dogs and cats and occasionally some pocket pets. Her strengths are in exemplary patient care, soft tissue surgery, emergency and urgent care, and client communication. Ensuring that an animal is provided top quality medical care while simultaneously educating and puting an owner’s mind at ease about their pet is her passion. In her free time, Dr. Singleton enjoys spending time with her daughter Sarai and their Berger Picard dog Nova. She also enjoys painting, craIing, going to the beach, traveling and spending time with her friends and family.
